Lili & Astara began with love and necessity. When our cat was diagnosed with diabetes, founders Wendy and Will, a maker with deep care for ingredients and a professionally trained chef, set out to create treats they could truly trust. What started at home became a mission to craft food that nourishes as much as it delights.In our Hudson Valley kitchen, every recipe is created and prepared by hand by culinary-trained makers who believe pets deserve the same integrity we expect in our own food.

We partner directly with small local farmers, choosing ingredients raised with respect and grown with purpose. Each batch is slow-crafted, never outsourced, and made without fillers or shortcuts: just clean, functional, farm-sourced ingredients that support health and bring joy to every bowl and wagging tail.
